In the same way, Don Juan Mejorada and his brother Don Justino Mejorada initiated the first furniture factory at the west side of the Republic. Between stones and streams vocation to transcend was the commitment. Don Juan Mejorada Factories started to get recognition among the people by means of fine wood furniture distinguishing from their competitors. By hard work and honesty they grew, having the most important furniture warehouse in Guadalajara’s Center. Distribution of all kind of office related items began, like type writer machines, office furniture, safe boxes and filing systems. In 1960, being an important year, the management of Muebles Mejorada was taken by a man dedicated to change the business’ world. At his short age Don Alfonso Mejorada takes the responsibility after his father’s dead, choosing as his own task to keep working and growing Muebles Mejorada. In 1961, Muebles Mejorada changed for a new recognized image all over the country as Casa Juan Mejorada in honor of his father who transmitted the legacy of his work to his son, and being for many years the most respected supplier of government, universities and hotels. His trajectory and vision were passed on his sons Alfonso Mejorada y Juan Mejorada, giving them a message "the best heritage you can leave to your sons are two things: roots and wings".
